MUMBAI: Television actress Kuljeet Randhawa, who became popular for her role in the suspense serial "Kohinoor", allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her single-room apartment in suburban Juhu on Wednesday night. She was 25. Kuljeet was found hanging from the ceiling by her maid who informed the police. The 2001 Gladrags model had been staying alone and was perhaps suffering from depression for the past few days, police sources said. ``A suicide note, apparently written by Kuljeet and recovered near her body, said she was ending her life as she was tired of it," a Juhu police officer said. The note also said that nobody should be blamed for her decision, the officer added. Dr. V. N. Tasgaonkar at Cooper Hospital, where autopsy was conducted, said: ``From my examination it looks apparently a case of hanging.'' Kuljeet had worked in TV serials `Hip Hip Hurray', `Cats' and `Special Squad' and was recently working in a feature film. Police sources said she might have gone into depression after a tiff with a boyfriend in recent days. The suicide note seized by the police purportedly says, ``... he was the beautiful thing that happened in my life... Not all things happen as you wish... Some people are strong to bear things, but I am weak... .'' The model actor's parents arrived in Mumbai on Thursday morning and took possession of her body. Last rites were performed at a crematorium later in the day. - PTI.
