GSM phones from LG

CHENNAI: In bid to increase the GSM customer base and strengthen its position in the Indian home appliances market, LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. has introduced a range of GSM phones.

In the home appliances segment, it has launched high-end `DIOS' refrigerator equipped with the latest technology and features.

Launching the two products, K. R. Kim, President, South West Asia, and Managing Director, LGEIL, said the GSM and high-end home appliance segment business was undoubtedly going to be the biggest growth driver in 2006.

The price range of the newly launched GSM phones varied from Rs.7, 000 to Rs. 20,000 and the price of LG three door DIOS with 751-litre capacity was Rs. 1.30 lakh.
