L&T secures UAE order

MUMBAI: Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) has secured an order from the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA) for the construction of 85 km long 220 kV transmission lines. Valued at AED 117.470 million (Rs. 144 crore), the project is to be completed in 24 months from January 2006. Mott MacDonald is the project consultants, says a release.
