Varsity announces annual exams in May
The last date for paying examining fee without fine is February 21 and with a fine of Rs. 100, February 28. Application forms can be obtained from college principals and the Directorate of Correspondence Courses. The applications have to be submitted through the college/institution concerned. All principals and heads of institutions have been asked to forward the applications to the University's Registrar (Evaluation) before March 7. Special Correspondent

N.G. Narayana, general secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Bangalore, told presspersons here that the course is aimed at training educated but unemployed people to provide healthcare at home to those in need of it. Candidates, aged between 18 and 29, should have passed the 10th standard to be eligible for the six-month course. The course fee is Rs. 1,500 and the application fee Rs. 100. Governor mourns Capt. Mani
