KOPPURAVURU (Guntur dt.): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Friday accused the Telugu Desam Party of discriminating against some sections of people in villages while implementing welfare and development schemes. At a public meeting here after attending Indiramma grama sabha, he said that the programme was launched to provide eight basic amenities comprehensively to entire population of the village within a year. While the TDP had constructed 12 lakh houses in five years, the present Government completed as many in 20 months, but there was need to construct 27 lakh units more, he said. Dr. Reddy promised houses for all within the next three years. "Had the TDP come to power, it would not have constructed the Pulichintala project," he said.
