Producers, actors back Vijay

CHENNAI: A few days ago, theatre owners in Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur districts wanted producer S.A. Chandrasekaran of Suriyan Arts to compensate them for loss incurred by releasing Tamil film Adhi a day late.

The Tamil Film Producers Council and Thennindiya Nadigar Sangam have stepped in to support Vijay. They want the Sangam to settle the issue with the distributor who bought the film and not drag Vijay into the issue. They feel the issue should be settled across the table and not be allowed to go public.
