Centre has three weeks to decide
Legal Correspondent
New Delhi:
The Supreme Court on Friday gave the Centre three weeks to decide on a suggestion for setting up a commission to resolve the boundary dispute among Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland.
A Bench, consisting of Chief Justice Y. K. Sabharwal and Justice C. K. Thakker, granted time after Attorney-General Milon K Banerjee said he would seek instructions from the Government on setting up the commission. It asked the Centre to suggest names for chairman and other members.
