HAL downs Royals
Bangalore
: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) defeated Royals 3-1 in a George Hoover Cup super division league match at the Football Stadium here on Friday. Satish scored a brace (13th and 79th minutes) while captain Sunil scored in the 59th minute as the aircraftmen registered their fourth victory in six matches. HAL now leads the points tally with 14 points. Meanwhile Wilfred scored in the 20th minute for Royals.
Earlier in an `A' division league match, BEML defeated Dharmaraja Union 6-1. Prabhot, Manoj Kumar, Vinod, Arun Stanley, Christopher and Gopinath scored for the victors while Karthikeyan scored Dharmaraja Union's lone goal.
