Clashes in Walled City

JAIPUR: Subhash Chowk area of the Walled City here was brought under Section 144 on Friday following clashes between two groups over Tazia procession on the occasion of Moharam. The clashes and heavy brick batting resulted in injuries to three persons from the groups and a few police personnel.

According to information available, clashes took place between the Khureshi community and the Pannigars over the Tazia procession. The condition of one of the injured was said to be serious.
