Japanese delegation in Delhi
The 30-member delegation was accorded a warm welcome by the Speaker, Chaudhary Prem Singh. "In our country, Japan is respected and regarded as one of the fastest developing economies of the world. India is one of the biggest markets in the world as far as electronics and computer appliances are concerned. Indians mostly prefer electronic items manufactured by Japan," he told the visitors. Mr. Aso said India had made tremendous progress in the field of information technology. "Environment protection is the one area in which Japan would like to extend its full cooperation to boost modern techniques and technology."
Water supply to be hit
Due to annual flushing of booster pumping station, water supply will be available at low pressure on Monday in LIG Madipur area; 256 MIG Hari Nagar area and Khanna Market area. Water supply will also be at low pressure on Tuesday at GH-14 Paschim Vihar; B-4A Block Janakpuri area; 356 SFS Madipur and 112 LIG Hari Nagar area. Water tankers will be available on phone: No. 29238543 (Greater Kailash), 28525659 (Janakpuri) and 25193140 (Shivaji Enclave).
