Team for Himalayan Trekking Expedition

MYSORE: For enthusiasts seeking adventure in the Himalayas, the Rotary Mysore Midtown and International Academy of Mountaineering and Allied Sports plans to provide an opportunity to test their endurance. A team from Mysore will be sent for National Himalayan Trekking Expedition 2006 in the Pir Panjal Range of the Kullu-Manali region of Himachal Pradesh during April/May.

The 11-day trekking programme to the Saurkundi Pass in Himachal Pradesh is being organised by the Youth Hostels' Association of India (YHAI). High school, pre-university and degree students are eligible to participate.

The number of participants has been restricted to 24. The last date for registration of names is March 2. Those interested may contact Deepak Solanki on ph: 9845116835 or Santhosh 9845111378.
