GUNTUR: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy laid the foundation stone for an exclusive sports hostel on Acharya Nagarjuna University campus on Friday soon after arriving from Prakasam district. Commending the efforts of the university officials in establishing the country's first sports hostel on a university campus, he hoped that the sporting skills of students of this region would get tremendous boost and they would shine at the national level. He promised Vice-Chancellor V. Balamohandas all help in completing the project. He later opened a community hall in Koppuravuru village in Pedakakani mandal of the district. District Congress Committee president Muppalaneni Seshagiri Rao and several MLAs came in two vans to all the venue of Chief Minister's programme.
