Training

The Department of Seed Certification will organise a training on seed certification with special reference to BT cotton on February 13.

About 25 officers from different parts of the State

will attend the training.

Discourse

Discourse on Vishnu Sahasranamam will be held at Sri Dhanwanthari Arangam from February 11 to 18.

Free medical camp

Indian Red Cross Society will conduct a free general medical and eye camp on February 12 at the Government Higher Secondary School, Thombilipalayam.

Special counters for coin distribution

State Bank of India, R.S. Puram branch, will operate special counters for exchange of soiled and mutilated notes and distribution of coins on February 12.

The counters will function from 10.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Employees stage demonstration

About 350 bank employees and officers under the banner of United Forum of Bank Unions staged a demonstration demanding restoration of compassionate appointments in banks, according to a release.
