BSNL adalat in March

Kochi: The BSNL will hold an adalat for the customers in Ernakulam and Idukki districts in March. Those having grievances can send their complaint to AGM (OP), Office of the PMGT, BSNL Bhavan, Kochi 16. Only long-pending complaints and those which have exhausted all normal channels and received before February 25 will be considered. — Staff Reporter

Yuvajana Vedi dharna

Kochi: The Yuvajana Vedi will hold a dharna before the Kochi Corporation office on February 13 when the Council considers the proposal for accepting Asian Development Bank's financial aid for infrastructure projects. Paramedical association meeting

Kochi: A meeting of the All Kerala Association of Paramedical Centre will be held at Asir Bhavan on Saturday at 10 a.m. The meeting will discuss issues related to the formation of paramedical council by the State Government, said a statement issued by Sr. Christopher, secretary of the organisation. — Staff Reporter

Telephone lines restored

KOCHI: Telephone lines that were damaged by fire on Thursday were restored on Friday.

Many telephone cables were damaged due to careless burning of garbage near the Panampilly Nagar Telephone quarters canal.

As optical fibre cables connecting the Vyttila and Gandhi Nagar exchanges and local cables from the Panampilly Nagar exchange were damaged in the fire, telephones and data circuits were affected. — Staff Reporter

Stabbed to death

Kochi: Mainan, 45, of Thachapuzha House, Pachalam, was on Friday stabbed to death allegedly by one of his relatives. The incident occurred around 8.30 p.m. near the house of the deceased. — Staff Reporter
