BANGALORE: A leather bag of a businessman containing Rs. 2.5 lakhs in cash kept in a car was reportedly stolen in Sampangiramanagar police station on Thursday. According to police, Mobin Bhujani, proprietor of Mobin and Associates, parked his car in front of a showroom and went inside. When he returned after 30 minutes he noticed that his bag was missing. Mobin, a resident of Ranka Park apartments on Richmond Road, has lodged a complaint with Sampangiramanagar police.
Theft
In another incident, a businessman lost Rs. 40,000 while travelling in a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus to Dooravaninagar on Thursday. According to the police, Amarchand, owner of Maya Enterprises, boarded the bus on his way back home after a two-day business trip. Midway, he noticed that his pocket had been torn and the money kept in it stolen. The police are investigating.
