Thiruvananthapuram: Traffic regulations have been introduced in the city on Saturday in connection with the Kavadi festival and procession from the Subramania temple at Ulloor. Vehicles from Thampanoor to Kazhakkuttom will have to take the Thycaud-Xanadu- Bakery Junction- Underpass- Asan Square- General Hospital- Pattoor- Chakka- Bypass route. City buses and other vehicles from East Fort to Sreekaryam will be diverted through VJT, General Hospital junction, Pallimukku, Kannamoola, Kumarapuram, Poonthi road, KIMS Hospital, Pulayanarkotta, Prasanth Nagar and Pongumoodu. Vehicles from Kazhakkuttom to Thampanoor and East Fort will have to take the route touching Chavadimukku, Manvila, Arasumoodu, Kulathur, NH Bypass, Chakka, Pettah, Pattoor, General Hospital, Asan Square, G.V. Raja junction, RR Lamp, Nandavanam, Bakery junction and Vanross junction.
KSRTC buses
KSRTC buses and other vehicles from Thampanoor and East Fort to Pothencode will be routed through Kesavadasapuram, Paruthipara, Pananvila, Parottukonam and Chekkalamukku, while those from Sreekaryam to Palayam will have to take the route through Chekkalamukku, Paudikonam, Mannanthala, Kesavadasapuram and Pattom.
