Housing for displaced families of Buggavanka project sought

KADAPA: CPI, CPI (M) and TDP leaders on Friday warned of an agitation if Buggavanka beautification project displaced were not rehabilitated by providing housing in Kadapa town.

Addressing a press conference here, TDP district Vice-President B. Hariprasad resented the threat of Congress municipal corporators to protest before political party offices in retaliation to all-party committee dharna before the Municipal Corporation office demanding proper rehabilitation of those being rendered homeless.

Refuting land-grabbing charges, they said the authorities could reclaim the lands if they had grabbed Government or private lands.
