Notice for debate in Parliament

New Delhi: The Left parties have given a notice for a debate in Parliament on Iran's nuclear issue under Rule 193, which does not require voting. The notice has been given by members of the CPI and CPI (M), M.K. Pandhe and Shamim Faizi told UNI on Saturday. The Left parties will also give a notice for debate on the Government's `attempt' to privatise airports and profit-making PSUs.

``We expect some of the UPA parties like the DMK, MDMK and PMK to extend support to the Left on these issues,'' CPI national secretary Shamim Faizi said. — UNI
