Stockbroker robbed of cash

HYDERABAD: Four autorickshaw-borne youngsters snatched Rs. 4,500 from a stockbroker after attacking him with knives near Masab Tank late on Friday night.

Shabaz of Rajendranagar, along with his friend, was coming to Masab Tank in his car.

As the vehicle ran out of petrol, he stopped near NMDC office around 10.45 p.m. and sent his friend to fetch petrol.

He was sitting in the car when the quartet knocked on the door, dragged him out and attacked with knives.

They then sped away in the three-wheeler. The victim approached the Humayunnagar police in the early hours of Saturday,West Zone DCP Amit Garg said.
