The two-part interview with Nepal's Maoist leader Prachanda (Feb. 9, 10) is interesting for the fact that the Maoists have at last realised after a decade of bloodshed that the only way to bring peace and progress in Nepal is to strive for multiparty democracy. More sad is the fact that realisation dawned on Prachanda after such a long time.
