Dry weather in Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI: Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperature rose largely at one or two places over north interior Karnataka, rose appreciably at one or two places over north coastal Tamil Nadu, rose at one or two places over Karnataka, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, fell appreciably at one or two places over north Tamil Nadu, fell at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were markedly below normal at one or two places over south interior Karnataka, appreciably below normal at one or two places over rest south interior Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, north interior Tamil Nadu, below normal at one or two places over rest Andhra Pradesh, rest Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, above normal at one or two places over north coastal Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Tuesday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
