KADAPA: Congress will regain power in the next Assembly elections and Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy will be re-elected for a second term, going by the unprecedented development being undertaken in the State, according to Minister for Social Welfare D.S. Redya Naik. Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he said Indiramma scheme was aimed at developing villages. Earlier, addressing an Indiramma scheme gram sabha at Mundlapalle village in Chennur mandal, the Minister assured pucca houses for all hut-dwellers in the State. He assured tar roads in Mundlapalle panchayat with Rs. 1.20 crores. He promised sanction of 149 houses, 38 pensions, 101 individual latrines, 260 domestic power connections and 243 drinking water tap connections in the village. Andhra Pradesh Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme would be implemented in the district with an outlay of Rs. 100 crores, he said. Kadapa MLA Md. Ahmedullah was present.
