HYDERABAD: The Bajrang Dal on Sunday opposed the Valentine's Day events being organised in the city and announced its decision to organise protests against programmes being lined up by hotels and pubs on the occasion. In a statement issued here, the dal said the drink and dance events are against the country's culture and have wrong influence on boys and girls. Stating that it was not opposed to those in love, the outfit said that it was arranging a mobile facility to perform marriages.

Gardenia would be subtly decked upon with roses, heart-shaped balloons, love candles and surrounded by romantic tunes. A heart-shaped `Tunnel of Love' will lead one to an exquisite candlelight dinner with diffused lighting and over 35 romantic buffet delicacies. Prizes, free stays at the holiday resorts of Goa, Darjeeling, Pondicherry and Visakhapatnam will be on offer. The hotel will award `Mr. and Miss Valentine' of the evening after conducting a series of contests.
