Workshop on Shakespeare

The Aress Book Club is organising a free workshop on William Shakespeare and his works from February 14, to February 20. The workshop, to be conducted by English literature academician N. David Rajendra Prasad, will be from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. daily. Lecture by Pakistani journalist

Department of Anthropology, School of Social Sciences and Department of Communication, SN School of University of Hyderabad are jointly organising a lecture by M. Ziauddin, Resident Editor, Dawn and a leading senior Pakistani journalist at 2.30 p.m. on February 13 at the School of Social Sciences. Theme of the talk is `Culture, Media and Society: The Role of Media in Indo-Pak Relations.'

Office-bearers elected

New office-bearers of the Gandhi Medical College Alumni Association have been elected. Accordingly, K. Lingaiah will be the president while B. Ranganatha Reddy and G.R. Linga Murthy will be the vice presidents. S. Rajendar will be the secretary while K. Ramesh Reddy will be treasurer.
