VISAKHAPATNAM: Chief of the Army Staff J.J. Singh said here that the military would continue to follow secular norms in recruiting soldiers. The armed forces never considered recruitment on the basis of community. He was replying to a query about reports that the armed forces were asked to submit statistics for Muslims. "We will convey whatever we feel to the Government. In our military, we are fair in recruiting people. There is no question of our thinking about the religious predilections of people who apply for jobs. Everyone is invited to apply for our services. There is no question of caste and creed."
