These include construction of two foot over-bridges near Sri Venkateswara College and Moti Bagh on Ring Road, strengthening of Mother Dairy and Madhu Vihar Roads in Patparganj, widening of inspection road
The projects were sanctioned in an EFC meeting held under the chairmanship of Delhi's Finance and Planning Minister A.K Walia.

Dr. Walia added that the foot over-bridges that have a provision of future escalators for pedestrians across the Ring Road which would be commissioned within four months after award of work, to curb road accidents due to pedestrians and vehicular traffic at these two junctions where traffic is continuously increasing.
The Mother Dairy and Madhu Vihar roads would be strengthened within 18 months after the award of the work. These roads urgently need to be upgraded as they are not in a good condition and are unable to bear the load of heavy flow of buses.
The projects of Irrigation and Flood Control Department relate to widening and improvement of existing roads on the right bank of the Najafgarh drain from Kakrola Regulator to Outer Road with an estimated cost of Rs. 2.18 crore that would provide relief to the traffic movement on this road.
