Belgaum: Space scientist U.R. Rao, who is here since Monday, visited KLE Hospital and inaugurated the Medical Records and Bio-statistics Department on Tuesday. He said molecular medicine will pave the way for radical developments. Vice-Chancellor of Visvesvaraya Technological University K. Balaveera Reddy, KLE Society secretary F.V. Manvi and senior officials of the hospital were present. Dr. Rao expressed concern over the lack of healthcare facilities in villages and called upon doctors to serve in rural areas, according to a release.
