Muslims burn copies of English daily

KOLKATA: Hundreds of Muslims on Tuesday burnt copies of a leading English daily in protest against an editorial dealing with the controversy over a cartoon of Prophet Muhammed, published in a Danish paper. The agitators, who assembled in front of the daily's office under the banner of ``Voice of Minorities," condemned the editorial which, they said, should be withdrawn. The protestors later dispersed peacefully. — PTI
