Film personalities attend college festival

CHENNAI:
Students of Guru Shri Shantivijay Jain College hosted an intercollegiate cultural festival `Sargam' recently.
Film director K. Balachander delivered the inaugural address. "My extra curricular activities in college served as a springboard for all my successful pursuits in Tamil theatre and later on in the celluloid world," he said. Actors Vishal and Srikanth, and singer Srilekha Parthasarathy were among those who spoke.
