Workshop on latest trends in stock market on February 18

CHENNAI:
Stock market consultants Prognosis Consultancy Services will hold a training programme for students on the happening field on February 18 (Saturday).
The consultancy, which provides advisory services to brokers, will hold a workshop for students and stock market aspirants from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., covering the latest trends in the stock market.
The workshop, called `Futures and Options', will introduce the concept of `futures' and explain `options' basics and terms such as `in the money', `at the money' and `out of money', advantages and applications of options, option premium, intrinsic value, factors that influence the premium of an option and trading strategies, among other subjects.
