Special counter for organic farm products

KOLLAM: Food and Civil Supplies Minister Adoor Prakash has said vegetables produced with organic manure will be provided with special sale counters at the outlets of the Civil Supplies Department.

He was delivering the valedictory address of a vocational training programme organised by the Kerala Education Development and Employment Society (KEDES) at Kalluvathukkal on Monday.

<167,4p,1>The Minister said the people of Kerala were losing interest in farming and in order to promote farming among the rural folk, special awareness campaigns should be organised.
