HYDERABAD : Speaker K.R. Suresh Reddy hosted a breakfast for the Assembly floor leaders of different political parties on Tuesday. Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu, T. Veerabhadram of CPI(M), Ch. Venkat Reddy (CPI), Akbaruddin Owaisi (MIM) and G. Vijaya Rama Rao (TRS) attended the breakfast. However, BJP group leader G. Kishan Reddy and his party MLA, Dora Babu, kept away from the breakfast alleging neglect of Backward Classes by the Government. Mr. Kishan Reddy walked down from Samkshema Bhavan to highlight the `neglect' in release of funds for BC scholarships.
It's colourful
Meanwhile, the budget session began on a colourful note with members of different parties donning attires of their respective party colours. While the Congressmen, including Dr. Reddy, wore scarves depicting the party colour, Mr. Naidu and his partymen sported yellow shirts. The Communists wore red shirts, while the TRS members had pink scarves. The MIM members were dressed in `sherwanis' and the BJP legislators wore scarves tinged with saffron.
