DEHRA DUN: Ten persons were killed and 16 seriously injured when the bus they were travelling in from Karnaprayag to Tharali fell into a deep khud near Narayanbagad on Monday. The bus was pushed off the road by a tree that fell on it, police said. The driver managed to jump to safety and sought help by informing the local police station. The injured have been admitted to the Community Health Centre at Karnaprayag. Expressing shock over the mishap, Chief Minister Narayan Dutt Tiwari has ordered a magisterial probe.
