They will then return to the National Stadium near India Gate. A pre-event assessment of the cars will be done on February 18, with spectators getting a sneak peek of the grand finale on Sunday.
The participating cars this year include 62 in the vintage section (pre-World War II), 19 in the Classic category
The oldest entry is the prize-winning 1914 John Morris fire engine of the National Railway Museum.
With nearly 37 trophies to be won, the vintage cars will be assessed on the basis of age, performance, maintenance and restoration among other factors.
