Displaced tribals to be rehabilitated in Charla

KHAMMAM: Tribals to be affected by the Polavaram project in Vararamachandrapuram mandal would be rehabilitated in Charla mandal. The families facing the risk of displacement were taken to the places where their rehabilitation settlements were proposed to be built. In all 85 families from Rekapalli and Mulkapalli villages would be shifted with the willingness to Satyanarayanapuram, Tegada and Gogubaka villages near Charla.

The district Collector, Rajendra Narendra Nimje, and other officials visited Charla mandal and took stock of the rehabilitation measures.
