Nellore : Functionaries of Mala Mahanadu, who met here on Tuesday, under the leadership of Koppolu Chandrasekhar, convenor, warned the Congress of serious consequences if it does not honour the Supreme Court's verdict pertaining to Scheduled Castes classification. In his speech, State president Karem Shivaji lashed out at Mallu Ravi, State Government's representative at New Delhi, and Union Minister for Social Justice Meera Kumari for `acting' in an indifferent manner, allegedly aimed at weakening the cause of SCs and demanded their resignation. The demands of Mala Mahanadu includes direct loans to beneficiaries from the SC Finance Corporation, distribution of surplus land among landless poor and reservation for Scheduled Castes in private sector.
