Jobless woman commits suicide

An unemployed woman, Y. Samatha, 27, who completed two post-graduate courses, committed suicide by consuming poison. A resident of Ameerpet, the victim consumed poison on Sunday in her house and died while undergoing treatment in a hospital on Tuesday.

No suicide note was found. "Exact reasons behind her death are not yet known but not getting a suitable job despite having better qualifications seems to have depressed her," Sub-Inspector S. Venkat Reddy said.

Man commits suicide

Dejected over reported differences with his wife, a person committed suicide on Monday in his house at Kamalanagar of Chaderghat. A centring worker, A. Durgesh, 30, had an argument with his wife Sangeetha over some family matter following which the latter went to her parents' house nine days ago.

Prisoner dies in hospital

A prisoner of Chanchalguda jail S. Durgaiah, 24, who complained of pain in abdomen late on Monday night, died in the early hours of Tuesday while undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital. Succumbs to injuries

A woman labourer Chandrakala, 30, who suffered injuries when an iron rod fell on her while working in a factory at Raidurg five days ago, died on Tuesday at OGH.
