CHENNAI: Pratibha Industries engaged in developing infrastructure projects in Water supply and distribution system, mass housing and real estate, road construction and environmental engineering is entering the capital market with a public issue of 42.85 lakh equity shares of Rs. 10 each with a price band of Rs. 100-120 per share through the book-building process. The issue is open from February 16 to 22. Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, Rohit Katyal, Chief Operating Officer, Pratibha group, said the funds raised will be mainly deployed in BOT/BOOT projects and invested in Pratibha Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. to enable it meet the capital expenditure for its spiral pipes project. Water infrastructure projects are the core strength of Pratibha Industries and the company has already done water projects in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi and Karnataka. Having gained adequate experience in pursuing infrastructure projects, the company has drawn up plans to enter the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business for executing oil and gas transmission contracts. It has an order book worth Rs. 560 crore with 74 per cent orders for water infrastructure projects.
