Pathan moves up

Dubai: Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar's excellent run and Mahendra Singh Dhoni's ruthless strokeplay in the ongoing Pakistan series catapulted the duo into the top 10 batsmen's list while Irfan Pathan also reversed the downslide to force his way to an astonishing fourth spot on the bowler's leaderboard in the latest ICC ODI rankings.

The Baroda left-arm pacer has consistently demolished the Pakistan top order on batting-friendly pitches and has jumped a whopping five rungs, besides clinging to fifth rank in the all-rounders' list.

Meanwhile in batting list, Tendulkar, who was ruled out by self-styled critics not so long ago, leaped 11 places to 10th position.

He amassed 237 runs with a ton and a near-ton in the three matches against Pakistan so far.
