Chandigarh: The Punjab Irrigation Department on Wednesday announced a programme for regulating water supply for irrigation purposes during the ongoing Rabi season in the State. Under the programme, which would run from February 17 to 24, the channels of Sirhind Canal System would run on priority basis from Patiala Feeder, Abohar branch, Bist Doab Canel, Sidhwan Branch and Bhatinda Branch respectively.PTI
