MYSORE: The All-India Progressive Janata Dal (AIPJD) has appealed to the Janata Dal (Secular) not to include MLA and former Minister D.T. Jayakumar in the Ministry in view of the non-bailable warrant against him in a criminal case. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, AIPJD leader and advocate Venugopal said the second JMFC (Judicial Magistrate First Class) court here has issued a non-bailable warrant against Mr. Jayakumar for allegedly assaulting Govindaraju, a Dalit, at Kalamandira here. The Mysore city police have been directed to arrest the Janata Dal (S) MLA.
