CHANDIGARH: Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) activists staged "Chetawani Pradarshans" (warning demonstrations) at all the district headquarters in Haryana on Wednesday in protest against the State Government's move to remove the name of the late Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal from the `Tau Devi Lal Thermal Power Station, Panipat'. The INLD workers demanded immediate withdrawal of this "narrow- minded and short-sighted step'' of the Government. They submitted memorandums to Deputy Commissioners. Addressing party workers at Bhiwani, INLD secretary-general Ajay Singh Chautala described this action as an "insult'' to all "Haryanvis''.
