Cash, jewels stolen at Met centre quarters

CHENNAI: Thieves broke into a residential quarters inside the Meteorological Centre in Nungambakkam on Tuesday and took away jewellery weighing 30 sovereigns with Rs. 6,500 in cash. According to police, the resident, Natarajan (55), working as Senior Assistant at the Met Centre.

His wife and daughter were also employed and they left for work in the morning.
