College founder dead

CHENNAI:
K.C.G. Verghese, founder chairman of Hindustan Group of Institutions, died here on Tuesday. He was hospitalised three days ago. He was ailing for sometime, family sources said. He was 65. Dr. Verghese is survived by his wife Elizabeth and children Anand, Susan and Ashok. He founded the Hindustan Group of Institutions in 1966, which includes the Hindustan College of Engineering, KCG College of Technology, Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology, Hindustan College of Arts and Sciences and the Orient Flight School, Pondicherry.
