Dry weather likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. The minimum temperature rose appreciably at many places over coastal Karnataka, at one or two places over north coastal Tamil Nadu, rose at one or two places over north interior Tamil Nadu, north interior Karnataka, fell at one or two places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh and south coastal Tamil Nadu.

They were markedly below normal at one or two places over interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, appreciably below normal at one or two places over rest interior Karnataka, north coastal Tamil Nadu, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, below normal at a few places over south Kerala, coastal Karnataka, rest Tamil Nadu, rest south coastal Andhra Pradesh, appreciably above normal at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at one or two places over rest coastal Karnataka.

FORECAST (valid until Saturday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
