Andaman, TN in finals

HYDERABAD : Andaman and Tamil Nadu moved into the finals of light women's doubles sculls event of the 26th Open National rowing championship at Hussain Sagar Lake here on Thursday. The other teams which made it were Kerala and Maharashtra.

Other results:

Lightweight men's double sculls: Services, Punjab, Delhi, West Bengal, Karnataka, Orissa, Chandigarh and Jammu & Kashmir qualified for semifinals.

Men's single sculls: Maharashtra, West Bengal, Chandigarh, Karnataka, Corps of Engineers, Andhra, Delhi, Services and Tamil Nadu qualified for semifinals.

Men's double sculls: Services, Delhi, Chandigarh, Andhra, West Bengal, Karnataka, All India Police, Corps of Engineers qualified for semifinals.

Men's coxless fours: Services, Andhra, Corps of Engineers, Karnataka, Kerala, Chandigarh, Maharashtra, All India Police qualified for semifinals.

Women's singles sculls: Orissa, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala qualified for semifinals.

Women's double sculls: Chandigarh, Kerala, Maharashtra and Andaman qualified for finals.

Women's coxless fours: Orissa and Andaman qualified for finals.
