BANGALORE: Southern Empire and Star Distinction impressed when the horses were exercised here on Friday morning (Feb. 17)

Inner sand:

800m: Big Thrillz (Shobhan) 52.5, 600/40.5. In fine condition.

Outer sand:

800m: Pal Joey (A. Velu) 58.5, 600/45. Moved on the bit. Brave Soldier (rb) 56, 600/43.5. Moved well. Faction Leader (S. Ramesh) 59, 600/45. In fine trim.

1000m: Limekilns (Jagadeesh), a 3-y-o (Pennine Ridge-Zuider Zee) (rb) 1-16, 800/57, 600/43. They finished level. Mani At Eighty (rb) 1-13, 800/56.5, 600/42.5. Strode out well. Jacard (Appu) 1-15, 800/59, 600/46. Moved freely.

1200m: Jasmine Star (I. Chisty), Candramala (Chandrashekar) 1-30, 1,000/1-15.5, 800/58.5, 600/45.5. Former finished six lengths in front. Jett Jackson (Chandrashekar) 1-33, (1,200-600) 44.5.
