Congress demand hypocritical, says Swamy
Special Correspondent
CHENNAI:
Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy has described as "hypocritical" the Congress demand for resignation of the Mulayam Singh Government in Uttar Pradesh following the "expose" of a Minister's alleged involvement in drug trafficking.
He said the Congress should, instead, ask the United Progressive Alliance Government to resign in the wake of revelations in the Mitrokhin papers and the Volcker Report and the Quattrocchi scandal. "The Congress party should realise that those who live in glass houses should not throw stones at others," he added.
