Thiruvananthapuram: A 58-year-old man and his three sons were found hanging at their house at Kunnukuzhy here on Friday. The police identified them as J. C. Dominic, his sons, Francis Dominic, 31, Antony Dominic, 28, and Bastian Dominic, 25. The police suspect them to have ended their lives after entering into a suicide pact. J.C. Dominic, who worked at the District Treasury at Statue, had recently been convicted in an anti-corruption case. The police found 12 letters suspected to have been written by Dominic to various persons, including the Chief Minister and the Leader of the Opposition. In the letters, he claimed he was innocent of the charges against him. The police also found the words `Our father is innocent' written on one of the window-panes of the house. The pet dog was also found dead. Dominic's wife, Barthilomina, who worked at the Panchayats Directorate, had died while in service. Two of his children worked in private firms. The police have registered a case of unnatural death.
