Lucknow: Income Tax officials assisted by policemen had to virtually flee a market place in the Uttar Pradesh capital on Friday, when traders opposed IT raid against a general merchant. U.P. Udyog Vypar Pratinidhi Mandal president Banwari Lal Kanchal told mediapersons here, the traders would not allow any IT raid or survey in their establishment till IT officials handed out similar treatment to politicians, officials and others.
